My Story
I graduated with a Fine Art BA hons degree back in 2006. Since having a family, walking and exploring together has become an important part of life, giving me the opportunity to notice and appreciate the beauty of nature in all seasons. Photography grew naturally from these experiences, allowing me to capture changing landscapes, interesting views and the atmosphere of the places we discover along the way.
My photography is about the connections we make through spending time outdoors. Walking has helped me slow down and notice the small details in nature, from the colours of the changing seasons to the mood and atmosphere of a particular place.
The photographs in this exhibition reflect my connection to nature, my connection to these places and the connection that comes from sharing these experiences with my family. By capturing these moments, I hope to share a sense of appreciation for the natural world and encourage others to take a moment to notice the beauty around them.
